To migrate service accounts from one domain to another domain:

Right-click <B>Active Directory Migration Tool</B> in the left pane of the main window.
<LI>
Click <B>Service Account Migration Wizard</B> on the Active Directory Migration Tool menu.
<LI>
Follow the instructions until you have finished migrating the desired service accounts. For more information about an option, click <B>Help</B>.

<B>Notes:</B>

The target domain must trust all domains that are trusted by the source domain and that contain accounts that are members of local groups you migrate from the source domain. The Trust Migration wizard allows you to compare and create the source and target domain trusts. Migrate the trusts before you migrate user accounts, service accounts, or local groups.
<LI>
During the migration process, this tool truncates
service account names that are more than 20 characters.
<LI>
Run the Service Account Migration Wizard before other migration wizards if you want to handle service accounts differently than user accounts, groups, or computer accounts.
