<H3>Summary</H3></FONT><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE=2><P>
The CD Audio sample allows some non-SCSI2 CD ROMs to support audio operations
by intercepting the relevant audio ioctls and translating them into the command
block(s) expected by the non-compliant cdroms. It supports Plug and Play and
Power Management, and is 64-bit compliant.<P>
No INF file is needed to install this driver.<P>
<H3>Building the Sample</H3></FONT><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE=2><P>
To build the sample, run the <b>build</B> command. Once built, this sample
will create one binary: cdaudio.sys.
<H3>Running the Sample</H3></FONT><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE=2><P>
The CD Audio driver should only be installed as an upper filter driver for a
cdrom device. To install this driver see the
<A HREF="..\addfilter\addfiltr.htm">addfilter</A> installer sample.
This program installs a specific filter driver and must be modified to
install cdaudio.sys.
