Report a bug to the Windows Whistler Beta team.

Welcome to the Whistler Bug Reporting page. Submitting good bug reports is a vital part of testing Windows Whistler. Good bug reports are clear, concise, and descriptive. System Restore Diagnostics

In order to get more information to help identify and resolve the problem please go to the %windir%/system/restore directory (%windir% is your windows directory) and execute the Cabbit tool with the following syntax:

cabbit  srdata.cab

cabbit.exe will generate a cabfile containing system restore log files and name it srdata.cab

Then in the Additional files to collect area of the bug report, please browse to the %windir%/system/restore directory and select this file to add. This file will now be uploaded along with the bug report.

Section IV: Submitting Bug Report

When you click Submit and Submit to Microsoft now is checked, the bug information will be uploaded to Microsoft's servers. To cancel the bug report click Cancel anytime during the submission process. To keep a local copy of the files on your disk select the option to Save copy to disk and specify a filename.

Please make sure you are connected to the Internet before submitting a bug report to Microsoft.
