To create the TcpipClientSupport registry entry
- While logged on to the primary domain controller (PDC) or the PDC emulator in the , click Start, click Run, type regedt32, and then click OK.
Caution
- Incorrectly editing the registry may severely damage your system. Before making changes to the registry, you should back up any valued data on the computer. You can also use the Last Known Good Configuration startup option if you encounter problems after manual changes have been applied.
- In Registry Editor, navigate to the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\LSA
- On the Edit menu, click Add Value.
- In Value Name, type TcpipClientSupport, in Data Type, click REG_DWORD, and then click OK.
- In Data, type 1 (the number one), in Radix, click Hex, and then click OK.
- Close Registry Editor, and restart the computer.

- You must be logged on as an administrator or a member of the Aministrators group in order to complete this procedure.
