Remote NDIS Component Description
Remote Network Driver Interface Specification (NDIS) is a bus-independent class specification for Ethernet network devices on dynamic Plug and Play busses such as USB, 1394, and InfiniBand. The remote NDIS component consists of network drivers for USB Ethernet devices that implement remote NDIS.

A network device .inf file is used to install a remote NDIS device. This .inf file references the drivers present in the remote NDIS component.
